of patents on human beings means the misappropiation of part of its exploitation,
and it reduces the relationship between nature and society to a commercial
interest based upon exploitation and lucre.
The Public Projects Group is
against the concession of patents on genetic material, whether coming or
deriving from human beings, animals and plants.
Currently, there is no explicit
rule against the patents related to human beings.
